How Much Does a Dental Practice Website Cost in 2026?

Dental website cost in 2026, with sources: DIY builders, dental-specific vendors, agencies, and exactly what MannyKnows charges a practice, setup fee included.

Manny

Here is what a dental practice website costs in 2026, what moves the number, the published market ranges with sources, and exactly what we charge.

Two different things get called “a dental website”

The first is the build. Someone designs the site, places the copy, codes it, launches it, and hands it over.

The second is the built-and-run site. The same build, plus everything after launch, paid monthly. Hosting, security, speed, the new hygienist’s bio, the updated insurance list, and the search work that keeps you showing up when someone in Chicopee types “dentist near me.”

A practice website is never done. Providers join and leave, you add clear aligners or drop a PPO, Google changes. That is why most numbers below come in two parts, upfront and monthly, and why the useful comparison is the first-year total, not the sticker.

What actually drives the price of a practice site

Scope.

  • Procedure and service pages. A page per procedure (implants, crowns, clear aligners, pediatric visits) is what ranks and what a nervous patient reads before calling. Ten real pages cost more than one “Services” list.
  • Photography of the real office. Stock smiles look like every competitor. Photos of your operatories and team cost a half-day shoot and are the fastest trust signal on the site.
  • New-patient forms. Downloadable PDFs are cheap. Forms a patient completes on a phone before the visit take real work and a secure way to receive them.
  • Insurance and financing content. Which plans you take, what out-of-network means, whether you offer a membership plan. Unglamorous, and among the most-read pages on a practice site.
  • Booking. A contact form is not booking. Real booking means an appointment lands in the schedule, at an open time, without a phone call.
  • Local SEO, per location. One office is one Google Business Profile and one set of location pages. Three offices triples the work.
  • Upkeep. Who changes the hours, adds the associate, and fixes the broken form. If the answer is “you, when you remember,” the site is cheaper on paper and more expensive in practice.

What the market charges for dental website design in 2026

Published ranges, with who published them; where the source sells websites itself, we say so.

DIY builders. The Dental Signal’s 2026 cost guide You do the writing, the photos, the forms, and the SEO.

Freelancers and agencies.Rosemont Media

Dental-specific subscription vendors. These sell a templated practice site for a monthly fee plus setup. ProSites’ own pricing page names four tiers but publishes no dollar figures; you request a demo. The published estimates come from competitors. FlashCrafter’s comparison Treat those as ballpark and get the vendor’s number in writing.

That is the number to compare any monthly plan against.

What MannyKnows charges a dental or medical practice

Our website plans are built-and-run sites, priced monthly, with a one-time setup fee for the build. Every price is on the pricing page and the plans themselves on the plans page; these three fit practices.

Yearly is 10× the monthly, so a prepaid year is two months free, and the setup fee is waived outright. There is no minimum term and no exit charge on either billing mode. And for the first 5 business days after kickoff you can cancel for any reason and get back everything you paid, setup fee included (the refund window).

Two other ways in. A specific site built once and handed over is billed at a flat , so you see the total before we start. And if the site you have is fine and the problem is being found, our local SEO packages

The setup fee, in one paragraph

The setup fee pays for the build. Because the build is paid for when it’s built, nothing is left to bill you if you leave, which is what lets “cancel anytime” be literally true. Prepay a year and the fee disappears. Move up a tier later and you owe only the difference in setup fees; move down and you owe nothing. It’s written out at /terms/#build-fee.

Manny designed, built, and launched hundreds of dental and medical practice websites at MedNet Technologies in New York before starting this agency, which is why the plans are shaped around procedure pages, forms, and insurance content rather than a generic template with a tooth on it. Our pillar post on practice websites covers what those pages need to say.

The expensive website

It’s the cheap one. One implant case a year pays for a real site several times over. The question isn’t “what’s the lowest price,” it’s “what does the site have to bring in to pay for itself,” and for a practice that number is small.

What to ask any vendor before you sign

  1. Who owns the domain and the content? You should, in your name, from day one. If the vendor registers the domain, get it transferred before launch.
  2. Who does the upkeep, and what does it cost? Get the hourly rate or monthly scope in writing. “Just email us” without a price is a bill you haven’t seen yet.
  3. Is SEO included, or a separate contract? Many practice-site vendors sell the site and the search work as two products. Ask what “included” covers.
  4. Is booking real, or is it a form? Ask to see an appointment land in a schedule. If the patient “requests a time and you call them back,” that’s a form.
  5. What happens if we leave? What you keep, what stops, and whether there’s a fee, in writing, before you’re a customer.

Whatever you decide, our free website analysis shows where your current site stands on speed, search, and the pages patients look for, and our post on ranking for “dentist near me” in Springfield covers the local search side. Not a practice? The general Western Mass website cost post has the broader picture.

FAQ

Is there a contract?

No minimum term on any website plan. Month-to-month plans carry a one-time setup fee for the build and can be cancelled anytime with nothing further owed; a prepaid year waives it. Both have a 5-business-day full-refund window from kickoff.

What’s included in the monthly price?

Hosting, SSL, speed, security, and maintenance; Manny AI at your tier’s level (answering and capturing leads at Get Found, booking at Get Booked, selling on a self-optimizing site at Get Growing); local SEO and Google Business Profile work scoped to the tier; and content updates with no per-change fee (four a month on Get Found, unlimited from Get Booked). Nothing else is needed to keep the site running.

Do we own the site?

Yes. The domain, the content, and the site itself are yours and go with you if you leave, with nothing to settle first. Manny AI is service software that runs on our infrastructure and stays with us; you keep the content it produced and every lead it captured.

Can we start with the site we have?

Yes. If your current site is sound and the problem is visibility, a local SEO package If the site is the problem, a plan replaces it and the setup fee covers the rebuild.

Why is a monthly plan cheaper than a one-time build up front?

Because the build’s cost is split between the setup fee and the subscription instead of billed all at once, and because we run one platform for many practices, so hosting, security, and the AI cost less per client than a bespoke stack. Over a year, a plan and a one-time build plus paid upkeep land in the same neighborhood; the plan just skips the big check and the upkeep.
