Case Study

Springfield en Victoria website case study

A church community's online home: programs, sermons, podcasts, and live streaming, with AI translation reaching the congregation in several languages.

Springfield en Victoria is a Spanish-speaking church community in Springfield. We built their online home: where to find the church, its programs, and a full multimedia ministry (sermons, audio, podcasts, and live streaming) with AI-powered translation, so the message reaches people in several languages, not just Spanish and English.

Goals

  • Make the church easy to find: location, service times, and programs in one place
  • Bring the message to people who can't be in the room: audio, podcasts, and live streaming
  • Reach the whole community in its languages, using AI translation
  • Announce community events, free food and clothing, from one place
  • Give the church's youth a way to find shareable resources and create content themselves

The challenge

A church is more than a building, but without an online home, everything depends on word of mouth: where to find it, when services happen, what programs exist, and what was said on the Sunday you missed. Springfield en Victoria wanted a place built to bring peace: where the community could find the church, follow its programs, and hear its message from anywhere, in their own language.

What we built

An online home for the congregation:

  • The essentials, easy to find: where the church is, when services happen, and what programs are available.
  • A multimedia ministry: sermons, audio, and podcasts, organized so anyone can catch up or revisit a message.
  • Live streaming: services reach members who can’t be in the room, in real time.
  • Community events, announced: the church’s free food and clothing events reach the whole neighborhood from one place.
  • Content by the congregation’s youth: young people find resources worth sharing and help create the site’s content. We trained the team on their new cameras, for live events and for producing young content, made for young people.
  • AI-powered translations: the site reaches the community in several languages, not just Spanish and English, with AI handling the translation work.
  • Fast on any phone: most of the congregation visits from a phone, so every page is built to load quickly.

How it works

Someone hears about the church, or searches for it, and finds everything in one place: directions, service times, and programs. If they can’t attend, the live stream brings the service to them; if they missed one, the sermons, audio, and podcasts are there any time. And because AI handles translation, the same message is readable across several languages without a translation team.

The outcome

Springfield en Victoria has an online home that matches its mission: a place built to bring peace. The church is easy to find, its free food and clothing events reach the neighborhood, its youth help create the content, and its message travels, live, recorded, and translated, to the whole community, wherever they are and whatever language they speak.

Manny built the portal our community had always wanted — our free food and clothing events and our resources, all in one place — and trained our youth on the new cameras to stream live events and create their own content.
